| Good and Consistent Weekend | | |
Ryan and his team headed to I-80 on Thursday to start there three day racing weekend. In his heat race he started fourth and that’s where he finished as well. So with that, Ryan didn’t receive any passing points. He did make the A feature, however started in the back. In the feature Ryan was up to about tenth place and pulled in on a caution due to his motor being to hot. So night number one, Ryan didn’t finish.
Friday night, Ryan and the team headed to McCool Junction. Night number two was a much better night for the team. Ryan started on the pole in the heat race, got a good start where he took the lead and picked up the win. In the feature Ryan started front row outside. He took the lead on the first lap. He was leading for a while, however Shane Stewart found a faster line on the track before Ryan and passed him. Ryan followed him for the remainder of the race, and picked up a second place finish.
Saturday, Roberts Motorsports headed to the Sprint Car Capitol, Knoxville Raceway. In the heat race Ryan finished in the second spot. Getting second in the heat gave him the pole position in the A feature. However on the start Bryan Dobesh who started outside Ryan got the better jump and led the race from lap one. Ryan was close to getting the pass a couple different times, however he ended up second.
This weekend Ryan will be racing at Eagle Raceway, he is building a new car this week and going to test the new car at Eagle. We hope to see you all there!!
