| Race Season has Begun... | | |
This past weekend was finally the start to the 2009 racing season for Roberts Motorsports. It was a good feeling to be back at the track, and qualifying for the feature both nights was a good way to start the season!
Friday night Ryan started fifth in the heat race and moved up to fourth. This however, didn’t give him enough passing points so he had to run the B feature. He did however get enough points to start toward the front and finished third and transferred him to the A. In the A feature Ryan ended up finishing 14th.
Saturday night Ryan started seventh in the heat race. Ryan and the crew had the car set up awesome and went from seventh to first, picking up the first heat race win for the 2009 season. He was the high point’s man for the night, and had to re-draw for his starting position in the A. He drew a seven so this lined him up third row inside for the feature. Ryan finished 11th in the A.
We would like to thank all the fans for coming out in the freezing cold weather. It was good to see everyone again. We will be running Eagle this Saturday for the Season Opener so we hope to see you all there!!
